The group can be divided into different buses due to high demand. Nevertheless, for logistical reasons, Unitrips will not assure that every traveller will be in the same bus. The tour will be conducted anyway, without altering its itinerary at any time.

Day 1 – Departure from Spain
We will depart from different points of Spain to get to the southern tip of the Iberian Peninsula. At night, we will board on a comfortable ferry that will pass from one column of Hercules to the other, the limit of the known world according to the Romans.

Day 2 – Tangier – Marrakesh
Once we have passed the border controls of Aduana, we will start our route from the green and tempered Mediterranean heading towards Marrakesh, on the way to the Morrocan heart.
On this organized Morocco trip you will enjoy the views. After that, we will arrive at the touristic capital of Morocco, the red city of Marrakesh. We will have time to visit its beautiful Zoco, the market, the palace of Bahía, and we will see the sunset in the mythical square Yamaa el Fna. In case you´re still not tired…prepare yourself for a crazy night in Marrakesh!

Did you know that…
- The origin of the market on the square Yamaa el Fna of Marrakesh is not known. Some people assume that the name could be related to antique neologism that means “assembly of the dead”.
- The city is divided into two large areas; the oldest one is known as “La Medina” and the modern one as “Guéliz”. You can explore both areas on this organized Morocco trip.
- The name Marrakesh means “earth of god” in Berber language.
Day 3 – Marrakesh – Dadés
Today, in the morning of this Morocco tour, we will wake up early to enjoy another jewel and UNESCO World Heritage Site of Morocco: Ait Ben Haddou. We will visit its famous Kasbah, that is, a fortified village made of mud, earth and straw. From there we will climb the ancient and winding roads that wind their way through the Atlas Mountains, passing the highest mountains in all of Africa, after Kilimanjaro. Then we will move towards the Sahara desert, crossing the Atlas Mountains.

Day 4 – Dadés – Merzouga
From here we will continue our trip to Morocco organized we will cross the Todra Gorges, impressive cliffs formed by the erosion of ancient rivers. We will head to the desert and spend the night in Merzouga, the gateway to the desert and we will be amazed to admire the dunes of Erg Chebbi, the highest dunes in Morocco that have a maximum height of 150 meters.

Day 5 – Merzouga – Night in the Desert
Eat on, stand up, it’s time to go to the desert!
In the morning we can enjoy an optional 4×4 ride where we will be taken to see nomadic desert villages and the Kohl Mines. This mineral is used by Moroccan women to paint their eyes.
When the sun goes down we will meet our friendly dromedary friends and we will start our caravan to the Haimas camp, enjoying the play of shadows generated by the sunset between the dunes. Here we will have dinner and enjoy the entertainment of our Berber friends. If the party does not suit you, you can enjoy a romantic night under the stars of the Sahara…

Did you know that…
- On one of the borders of the Sahara, in Mauritania, there is a beach in Nouadhibou Bay where the largest ship graveyard in the world is located.
- In the dunes of Ihhan Ubari, in Libya, there are about 15 saltwater lakes. Among them, the largest is called Mandara.
- The desert temperatures are very extreme. More than 40 degrees during the day and below zero at night.
Day 6 – Desierto – Fez
Today in this Morocco tour we will get up early to see the sunrise from the dunes. We will go to the hotel on our friendly hump-backed friends, the dromedaries. We will enjoy a comforting breakfast and then we will leave in the direction of Fez.
On the way we will be able to contemplate wonderful landscapes.

- Fez and Morocco in general are the world’s leading importers of green tea.
- Polygamy in Morocco represents only 0.31% of marriages in Morocco, against all odds.
- Al Qarawiyyin University located in Fez is the oldest university in the world still in operation.
Day 7 – Fez – Tangier
Once again, during our tour of Morocco, we will get up early to visit Fez with an official guide. We will try not to get lost in the 8,000 streets of its labyrinthine Medina, we will pass by the Koranic school, the leather dyers and its markets full of smells and colors. We will take the opportunity to choose the last souvenirs bargaining with the locals in the leather and jewelry stalls.
Then we will continue our tour of Morocco to the north to return to Tangier.

Day 8 – Tangier – Chefchouen – Algeciras – Night in the Bus
Before finishing this circuit through Morocco, we can not miss the beautiful city of Chefchaouen. Its characteristic blue color floods the photographs of curious and adventurous who dare to get lost in its narrow streets.
We finish the trip crossing to Spain. A quiet night awaits us on the bus back to our destinations, with enough time to see the photos and videos we have stored from this incredible trip to Morocco organized.

Did you know that…
- Chefchaouen is one of the most attractive tourist spots in northern Morocco.
- It is characterized mainly by the blue color of its houses.
- It was for centuries considered a sacred city, so its access was forbidden to non-Muslims until 1920.
- Every year, just before Ramadan, the inhabitants of Chefchaouen carry out the general painting of their houses in blue and white, for which they spend 15 tons of paint. The reason? Legend has it that to scare away bugs and flies, the reality is unknown.
Day 9 – End of Tour
After a night in the bus, we will arrive at our destinations in the morning. All good things come to an end and so it is also our turn to say goodbye to this great tour of Morocco, with sadness but with eyes full of memories, images and emotions that will accompany us for life.

Bus transport:
Transportation will be by private bus. Important: In this trip, the group may be divided into several buses in case of high demand, so for logistical reasons, Unitrips does not ensure that all travelers take the tour in the same bus. Unitrips will allocate the seats on the buses to the travelers.

Language of the Tour:
The main language during the tour will be Spanish. Nevertheless, translations will be provided as far as possible for English-speaking participants, as it is not feasible to conduct the tour in 2 languages simultaneously.
Optional Activities:
Unitrips is not responsible for lack of tickets in the mentioned monuments, being services beyond the organization’s control. In case of lack of tickets, the amount charged will be refunded.
