Day 1 – November 12th: Marrakech – Atlas – Ouarzazate
The Unitrips Morocco team will be waiting for you at Marrakech Menara Airport upon your flight, the group guide and driver will pick everyone up point to head south towards Ouarzazate, crossing the Tizi N’Tichka pass which reaches a height of 2,260 meters, giving you the chance to admire the oases, palm groves, numerous kasbahs, and the landscapes of the Atlas. Once in Ouarzazate, we’ll head to the hotel to rest and get ready for the adventure that awaits us in the coming days.
Day 2 – November 13th: Rose Valley – Todra Gorges – Erfoud – Merzouga Desert
We will pass through the Rose Valley, where locals make rose creams, soaps, and water. After lunch at Todra Gorges, we will travel along the asphalt route, crossing the important Tinghir palm grove—one of the most beautiful and vast in Morocco—to reach the city of Erfoud.
From here, we will head off-road to Merzouga, where, after having tea, we will ride camels across the vast expanse of golden sand to enjoy the stunning desert landscape at a leisurely pace. We will reach the camps where we will spend an unforgettable night amid the dunes, with a campfire, traditional musicians to help you appreciate the spirit of the desert, and the indescribable starry sky. Dinner and overnight in the unforgettable desert camps.
Day 3 – November 13th: Merzouga Desert – Draa Valley – Marrakech
Early in the morning, after watching the sunrise from the top of a dune, we will return to the lodge for breakfast. We will then head to Ouarzazate for lunch. We will continue through the magnificent Draa Valley, making several stops to enjoy this beautiful valley that runs alongside the river of the same name. It is the longest river in Morocco, flowing across the entire country.
Arrive in Marrakech. Accommodation in a riad with breakfast.
Day 4 – November 14th: guided tour of Marrakech and transfer to the airport
After breakfast you will have day guided tour to discover Marrakech. To immerse yourself in the red city and lunch at the Medina, you will visit the most beautiful palaces and monuments of Marrakech such as the 19th century Bahia Palace, the Saadian Tombs 16th century, the Koutoubia Mosque, the Majorelle Garden. We will also visit the famous souks where traders selling sell everything, from leather, carpets, fabrics, to spices, kaftans, then free time until the time of your transfer to Marrakech airport.
