Sahara Adventure

Day 1: Madrid – Marrakech – Ouarzazate – Skoura – Rose Valley – Dades Valley

The Unitrips Morocco team will be waiting for you at Marrakech Menara Airport upon your flight arrival to transfer you to your accommodation in Ouarzazate. Your guide and driver will pick you up from your location.

We will head south towards Ouarzazate, crossing the Tizi N’Tichka pass which reaches a height of 2,260 meters, giving you the chance to admire the oases, palm groves, numerous kasbahs, and the landscapes of the Central Atlas.

We will continue to Ouarzazate for lunch. In the afternoon, we will travel to the village of Skoura, located in the heart of the palm valley, an extensive and labyrinthine oasis with lush vegetation surrounding beautiful secret kasbahs. From here, we will proceed through the Rose Valley to the Dades Valley. Dinner and overnight by the Dades River.

Day 2: Dades Valley – Imider – Todra Gorges – Erfoud – Merzouga Desert

We will pass through the Rose Valley, where locals make rose creams, soaps, and water. After lunch at Todra Gorges, we will travel along the asphalt route, crossing the important Tinghir palm grove—one of the most beautiful and vast in Morocco—to reach the city of Erfoud.

From here, we will head off-road to Merzouga, where, after having tea, we will ride camels across the vast expanse of golden sand to enjoy the stunning desert landscape at a leisurely pace. We will reach the camps where we will spend an unforgettable night amid the dunes, with a campfire, traditional musicians to help you appreciate the spirit of the desert, and the indescribable starry sky. Dinner and overnight in the unforgettable desert camps.

Day 3: Merzouga Desert – Rissani – Draa Valley – Marrakech

Early in the morning, after watching the sunrise from the top of a dune, we will return to the lodge for breakfast. We will then head to Ouarzazate for lunch. We will continue through the magnificent Draa Valley, making several stops to enjoy this beautiful valley that runs alongside the river of the same name. It is the longest river in Morocco, flowing across the entire country. We will continue the adventure by crossing the Tizi N Tichka pass (2,260 meters).
Arrive in Marrakech. Accommodation in a riad with breakfast.

Day 4: Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech – Madrid

After breakfast, you will have a guided tour to discover Marrakech. To immerse yourself in the Red City and have lunch in the Medina, you will visit some of Marrakech’s most beautiful palaces and monuments, such as the 19th-century Bahia Palace, the 16th-century Saadian Tombs, the Koutoubia Mosque, and the Majorelle Garden.
We will also visit the famous souks where merchants sell everything from leather, carpets, fabrics, spices, and caftans.

You will have free time until the flight back to Madrid.
