Day 1 – Munich
Munich is not only a rich, modern and very lively city… It has a lot of history. That’s why, if time permits, we will stop to visit its cathedral and the Marienplatz with its famous gothic chiming clock, which has 43 bells and 32 animated figures that dance every morning at 12 o’clock. Munich is also home to the world’s largest and most popular Oktoberfest, which attracts 6 million people every year!

Day 2 – Munich
Prost!
We’re off to the world’s biggest beer festival! Our first stop in Germany will be in Bavaria, the southernmost region of Germany, famous for its beer and its capital: Munich. It’s time to enjoy, in all its splendor, this Oktobertour, because here you will have everything you need to enjoy the beer festival. Let’s ride the roller coasters and enter a beer tent!
Did you know that…
- Oktoberfest has been an important part of Bavarian culture in Munich since 1810. This is where our Oktobertour comes from.
- At the Oktoberfest in 1981 people drank so much that the beer in one tent almost ran out and they had to ask the tent next door for help.

Day 3 – Munich
On this remaining day you can enjoy the rest of the Bavarian city. If you feel like taking a walk, you can go to the “English Garden”, a park that is bigger than Central Park. You can also visit the Nymphenburg Palace, a baroque style palace, and the carriage museum, or if you want to drink your farewell beer you can go into any brewery!
Our trip to Munich and the Oktoberfest is over…. Until the next beer tour!
