Trip from Budapest to Slovenia

Good Morning!! Today we start our adventure to one of the prittiest cities in Slovenia: Bled. We will arrive at noon. The climb to Ojstrica takes about 20 minutes, it is short but steep, and will award you with an exceptional view from the top. There is a bench at the top, offering a romantic panoramic view of Lake Bled.

For the afternoon, we offer you an optional package: A visit to the Castle + Pletna to the island. The boat to the island is included.

After this amazing day we will go to the hostel to rest. Tomorrow another amazing day awaits us.

Today we will wake up and have breakfast in our hostel. After we will take you for an amazing excursion to: Vintgar Gorge. One of the most magical places to visit in Slovenia. For 1.6 km, boardwalks crisscross their way along the Radovna River, creating an enchanting landscape that is photogenic and fun to explore. Vintgar Gorge is one of Slovenia’s most popular attractions.

Then we will see the incredible Bohinj, its crystal clear water, and the Savica waterfall, which is considered to be the most beautiful waterfall in Slovenia. With its height of 78 meters, it creates a powerful image of the wild alpine waters in the Triglav National Park. It lies at the upper end of the Lake Bohinj valley, not far from Ukanc village, squeezed between high gorges and rocky walls at an altitude of 900 meters and 300 meters above Lake Bohinj.

At around 20 we will return to the hostel.

We will wake up early, have a tasty breakfast, and head to Budapest. We will make a stop in Ljubljana. Slovenia’s capital and largest city is one of Europe’s greenest and most liveable capitals; it was the European Commission’s Green Capital of Europe in 2016. Car traffic is restricted in the centre, leaving the leafy banks of the emerald-green Ljubljanica River, which flows through the city’s heart, free for pedestrians and cyclists. In summer, cafes set up terrace seating along the river; it almost feels like a nightly street party.

We will arrive in Budapest at around 21 pm.
