What Destination is Perfect for Each Age Group?

According to a study carried out by Oyster, there are several  ideal destinations that are best suited for each age group according to the characteristics and life expectations that we have in each of them. Taking their classification into consideration, and including some of our own exceptions, we leave below the places that you won’t be able to stop visiting and that we consider ideal destinations, depending on your age:

Ideal destinations between 7 and 14:

DISNEYLAND

A must-see resort and one of the ideal destinations for kids between 7 and 14. Both for the most European, as for the most international; Disney has several theme parks on different continents. The closest to Spain, Disneyland Paris. A true paradise for the little ones that the adults who accompany them will also enjoy. They call it the happiest place on earth for a reason.

FINLAND

Another one of the ideal destinations for kids, especially at christmas!! Snow, islands, boats, Father Christmas… Finland is a great visual and unique spectacle for children. Here you can get in touch with nature while enjoying yourself and having one of the best trips you will ever experience..

Ideal destinations between 15 and 18

NEW YORK

Really, at what age is it bad to visit New York? None, but especially during your teenage years is when more questions are held about the future, life, dreams…and New York is promising in terms of future expectations. You could say that it motivates you to dream, to fight for your desires, to experience. A perfect time in life to travel to this place. But it is kind of one of the ideal destinations for literally everyone.

POLAND

One of the ideal destinations if you’re interested in history. A place where you can learn to become aware of the crimes of Auschwitz and Nazi Germany. Get closer to what communism and the entire 20th century was like that you learn so much about. As well as also enjoying a city full of history, culture, and things to discover, such as the beautiful Warsaw and Krakow.

BELGIUM

The birthplace of the European Union is also one of the most educational places – a.k.a ideal destinations for young people. There they will learn about the institutions and value the importance, or at least get to know the existence, first-hand, of everything that surrounded European politics. Also, they will enjoy the fries and the culture of sweets, chocolate and waffles that Belgium has to offer. IBIZA

Between 23 and 35

VENICE

Falling in love with Venice is so easy that this is the best age to visit and one of the ideal destinations for those between 23 and 35. Travelling as a couple is a delight because it offers everything you need to relax and enjoy one of the most romantic places in the world.

PARIS

Paris is and ideal destination and perfect for any age. But is it without a doubt enjoyed more with money and tranquillity. So, travelling with fewer people, even just as a couple, is the best way to make the most of everything Paris offers and its essence.

CROATIA

A necessary rest is what many young people in their thirties need and thats why its one of our ideal destinations. For that reason, Croatia offers an ensemble of marvellous beaches and an optimal level of people at this age, not so young that they’re partying to the fullest, nor so old that they’re staying indoors. Dubrovnik is one of the greatest options that Croatia offers.

THE UNITED KINGDOM

For many people, this age means the moment in which they need to emigrate to other places and make a living. The UK is one of the favourite places and ideal destinations to take this step.

Ideal destinations between 36 and 45

CHINA

This age is the best time to discover the horizons. China is a city that must be visited with stability, money, time…but also with health. Therefore, this age within maturity is one of the best times to take the initiative and cross the Great Wall. Getting to know their temples and palaces such as the Temple of Heaven or The Temple of the Jade Buddha, going across the Great Wall, taking a stroll through their parks and gardens such as Suzhou Gardens or Beihai Park and visiting the Shanghai Museum, are just some of the things that you can do in this incredible destination.

THE MALDIVES

For those who are more in need of a break in paradise, the Maldives is one of the best options to consider. At this stage, you could afford to pay for a trip that, although not cheap, will be unforgettable. With a tropical and humid climate and more than 1,000 islands, it is the perfect place to enjoy nature and water sports. Here you can swim among sharks, whales and rays, all while disconnecting from the world.

TURKEY

Turkey is one of those cities that offers something very different being within Europe and one of the ideal destinations for those looking for something distinct. For those who are lazy when it comes to travelling but are still eager to live adventures, Turkey is a great option. Visiting a quiet Jaima and getting to know the culture of the mosques can be breath-taking.

IRELAND

ALASKA
