It is a neighborhood full “ruin bars”, or translated into Spanish “bars in ruins”, which are very popular in the city Budapest. Yes, in Mexico we have the chocolate shells, but in Budapest there is the Donut Library. One of the best places to eat in Budapest. The place where they sell the best Buddha and Pest doughnuts perfect for eating at any time of the day. I would advise you to order a coffee with ice, since it comes decorated with a small doughnuts at the top, very cute! The place is not very easy to find, it is located outside the main streets, exactly in Pozsonyi út. It’s a small and comfortable place, so you may need to wait a while to get a table. Place near Margarita Island on the Danube River, do you want some good advice? Order a doughnuts and a takeaway coffee and enjoy it on beautiful Margarita Island. Although the Donuts Library is not of the most traditional or Hungarian, nothing happens, since doughnuts are something that everyone loves.
Gastland Bisztró Oktogon:
Do you have only one day in Budapest? Your best option is this restaurant BUFFET!, where you will find from the most famous “gulash” to the spicy dish known by Paprikás Csirke (did you know that the pepper was born in Hungary?). Lángos de “Kazinczy utca”:
The Hungarian version of fast food, ignore any langos you see in your path, the good ones are those of Kazinczy Street, topped with lots of cheese, on a fried dough. The place is somewhat vintage, with a garden where you can sit and enjoy your lungos under a sky full of stars. In this place, there are several food stalls that are going to tempt you and a lot. Like, for example, the Berlin Canteen, Paneer, Le crépe, the Pasta station, Zing Burger among others. In short, it’s a Sunday sin. But of course, how are we not going to sin, if when we travel every day it’s Sunday.
Gelarto Rosa:
Well, maybe an ice cream parlour isn’t the most typical restaurant in Budapest, but it’s got something we can’t overlook… your ice creams are rose-shaped! And they also have a wide variety of flavors, from lavender or white chocolate to lemon and basil (you need to try it before judging!) and although surely there will be great tail at the entrance, it is worth waiting. I have never found ice cream with this form in another city, so to some extent, can they be a local specialty…?
