Day 1 – Madrid

Close your books, forget about stress. Start your European adventure where you will meet young people from all over the world. You start your Europe travel package in Madrid, the capital of Spain, so get your strength back and enjoy the trip!

You start your city tour in the afternoon where you can see the most characteristic sites of the city such as Retiro Park, Puerta de Alcala, Cibeles, Sol, Plaza Mayor, etc..

After a day enjoying the city, you will have free time for dinner, go for tapas! Celebrate that you are in Spain.

Day 2 – Madrid – Barcelona

Today in this Europe Travel Package you will have the afternoon in Madrid to see what you have left pending. And in the evening you will leave for Barcelona. If you arrive in time you can go out to see a little bit of the city.

Did you know that…

• Gaudi’s famous Sagrada Familia still does not have a concrete completion date. The project is so huge and complex that it is still unknown when it will be finished.
• In Barcelona there is a statue of Liberty, specifically one of the three original ones. You can see it in the Arús Library, near the Arc de Triomphe. The other two are in New York and Paris.
• The avenue that collects the main works of the Master Gaudí are in Passeig de Gracia, and are of the twentieth century. Let yourself be fascinated by the famous Pedrera and Battló houses.

Day 3 – Barcelona

More time to enjoy Barcelona!

After yesterday’s trip from Madrid, we don’t think you had enough time to explore Barcelona to the fullest, so you have an extra day here. Make the most of it by visiting the highlights of Barcelona, such as Parc Güell which is another spectacular work of Antonio Gaudí and his genius is recognized because it was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.

Casa Mila is not only an impressive building, but also offers spectacular views of the city center, and with day and night tours don’t miss the opportunity to see such an incredible city from above.

However, if you prefer something different, there is still much more of Barcelona to discover in this Europe travel package.

Day 4 – Barcelona – Rome

You will wake up early and continue your tour of Europe to enter a new country: Italy.

Today you will board a plane to Rome and get ready to eat delicious dishes, pasta, pizzas, gelatos and more! After checking in, drop your bags and head out to explore the city.

Day 5 – Rome

Rome is known as the “Eternal City” and everything has its explanation. In this city time seems to have stopped centuries ago due to the multitude of monuments and remains of imposing buildings. This makes a stroll through its streets a journey back in time to the capital’s heyday of maximum splendor.

The capital of Italy and ancient “caput mundi” awaits us with its thousands of years of history. There are plenty of reasons to visit Rome, to be captivated by the city and wish to return to it, such as the gastronomy and its lively atmosphere are some of them. Before going to bed, stroll through its streets and savor the Italian cuisine in a typical Roman “osteria” or have a gelato…

Day 6 – Rome

Day 7 – Rome – Florence

Today you say goodbye to the eternal city and head straight to the Vatican. Later you will board a train to Florence. Did you know that this city is called the cradle of the Renaissance? There is so much to see here, get ready to tour it thoroughly.

Day 8 – Florence – Pisa and Cinque Terre*.

Today, in this package tour to Europe, you can visit many works of art of these authors in the Uffizi museum, or if you do not feel like being in a museum, you can stroll through the hills of Florence. Day 9 – Florence – Venice

After admiring this small city with more than 3000 years of history, you will continue your journey to another jewel of Italian architecture: Venice.

Venice had the honor of being one of the most powerful, rich and populated cities for many centuries, dominating the Mediterranean and eastern trade routes, and its art reflects the Byzantine and Asian influence that Marco Polo told us about.

Day 10 – Venice

We continue to fall in love with this city that could be a museum of extraordinary dimensions. Venice is one of the most photographed places in the world, and we can’t be less, take out your camera because bridges, Vaporettos and Gondolas are waiting to be immortalized.

You will enjoy the Byzantine influenced art that characterizes the Basilica of San Marco, you can admire the Grand Canal from the Rialto Bridge but if you really want to enjoy this city get lost in its narrow streets and be surprised when you turn every corner.

• The last bridge built in Venice was designed by a Spanish architect: Calatrava.
• Every now and then in Venice a phenomenon called “Acqua Alta” occurs. It causes a sharp rise in the water level in the Venice lagoon, usually lasting about 3 – 4 hours. Depending on the intensity with which it occurs, it can flood, with half a meter of water, most of the historic center.
• No cars, not even bicycles, are allowed in Venice because it is forbidden, and you will even be fined. The only way to move around the city is on foot or by water.
• Although walking around Venice, we have the impression that there are many canals, there are only two, the Grand Canal and the Giudecca Canal. The rest of the small canals that flow between the narrow streets are called rivers.

Day 11 – Venice – Prague

Farewell to Venice!

Today you leave this beautiful city behind, heading for magnificent Prague – the next step in our Europe package tour. To get there you will have to take a flight so as not to spend too much time in the sky, instead of enjoying the fantastic capital of the Czech Republic.

During your flight, you can think about what you want to do first in Prague. Maybe go to the State Opera, which is affordable and a great show, or maybe you’d prefer the Black Theater, but if not, there are magnificent buildings all over the city, such as St. Vitus Cathedral, St. Nicholas Church and the Municipal House.

Day 12 – Prague

Enjoy strolling through the Old Town… You can take a walk through Wenceslas Square, universally known for being the scene of the “Prague Spring”, you can discover the most famous astronomical clock in the world, and you can cross the Vltava River on St. Charles Bridge. Famous for its 30 baroque sculptures, you can reach the foot of the largest castle in the world, where a world reference of literature lived: Kafka.

Still have energy? Then you still have to discover the New Town, also of medieval origin, and the old Jewish Quarter. You can go to the Theater of the States, where several operas by Mozart were premiered, and you can visit this neighborhood. Finally, you can stroll through the Clementinum, the former Jesuit College.

Day 13 – Prague

Prefer to sleep all day, don’t! Prague has a lot to offer, from its Castle and the Golden Alley where Kafka lived, to buildings that are both quirky and modern, such as the Dancing House.

Day 17 – Budapest

We will start this day of our package tour to Europe visiting as much as possible in this beautiful city. It is not difficult to see that it will be a challenge to visit the most representative places, Budapest is very big!

You can not leave the city without entering the Basilica of St. Stephen, where the right hand of the saint who gives it its name. We will also admire the Parliament overlooking the Danube, whose riverbed we will follow to meditate a few minutes in silence in front of the Shoe Monument, dedicated to all the Jews who lost their lives under Nazi occupation.

Finally we will cross the Chain Bridge to reach the Budapest Palace and the Fisherman’s Bastion from which you have one of the best views of Pest. Near the Bastion is the famous Matthias Church, with stained glass windows and frescoes of the nineteenth century.

If you still have strength left at night you know that you can access the Ruin Bars or the various thermal baths that are located throughout the city.

Day 18 – Budapest – Paris

Today you will fly to the city of lights, Oh la la Paris! Upon arrival buy a baguette, a wine and head towards the Eiffel Tower. Of course, you can finish the tour at the most famous tower, the Eiffel Tower, the most representative icon of the French capital, which has become the most sold keychain in the world.

Day 19 – Paris

Today on our Europe package tour will be your free day in ‘the City of Light’, as we are in everything, we will give you the time you need to see some of the places you left out. Of course, we will give you some tips on what to do.

You can start with Notre Dame, the great Lady of Paris, and passing by Pont Neuf, you can go admiring the river of Paris, The Seine, passing in front of the museum that exhibits the most famous painting in the world, La Gioconda by Leonardo da Vinci.

The best thing is that after all that, there is still a lot to do in the city of love, for example, you can visit the Arc de Triomphe, the National Palace of the Invalides (built for soldiers retired from service) and for those looking for something more terrifying, we recommend the Catacombs of Paris where more than 6 million people are buried.

Day 20 – Paris

There is still much to see: The Palace of Versailles, the Louvre Museum, Moulin Rouge or climb the Eiffel Tower. If you prefer, you can enjoy the modern architecture and its futuristic skyscrapers in the neighborhood of La Defénse.

Do you like more of an exotic or multi-ethnic theme? There is a very curious neighborhood called Belleville, where Monsieur Malaussene used to live.

If you want to see a piece of Italy in Paris, don’t miss a visit to the Luxembourg Gardens, commissioned by Maria dei Medici, and on the way appreciate the Pantheon, the Sorbonne (the best university in France) and stroll through the Latin Quarter and its thousands of bars.
