First day of this unforgettable adventure.
Sarria is known for being the usual starting point for the last 100 km of the French Camino de Santiago. Here you will find many people about to start the last journey. We advise you to rest well and prepare your shoes. El Camino begins tomorrow.
The adventure begins!
You will start your tour on the date you have chosen and you will have the instructions that we will have sent you before the trip. To start this Classic Camino de Santiago high up, today you will do 22 km. Don’t worry, you won’t find sections that are difficult to walk. You will pass through towns such as Ferreira or Lavandeira, and you will find multiple hostels and bars. You will be able to complete this stage in approximately 4 or 5 hours. Before ending this section, you will cross the river Miño.
Upon reaching Portomarín, it is worth visiting the Church of San Nicolás de Portomarín, which was rebuilt stone by stone. Then you can go to the indicated accommodation to rest.
Remember that the backpack transport service is included so you can enjoy the road without weight!

Second day of this Classic Camino de Santiago. After you have rested and had breakfast, 24 km await you, which takes 5 or 6 hours. In this stage we will go up a slope to Sierra de Ligonde, which is at km 13, after which there is a gradual descent. When we get to Palas de Rei, we will have multiple supply points. Let’s recharge batteries!
If you have energy left… and I trust you will: We recommend that you visit the Castillo de Pambre. Really worth it. Then you can go to the designated accommodation to rest.

Third day of adventure! We are already half over. Adjust your shoelaces and have a nutritious breakfast that today nothing more and nothing less than 29 km await you. In addition to being the longest stage, it has a slightly steep profile, which makes it a challenge for pilgrims. It is often referred to as the “leg breaker” stage. Here it is difficult to keep up because of the many hills and descents. But you will complete it without problems in about 6 or 7 hours.
In this stage, the Camino connects with the pilgrims of the Camino del Norte and those of the Camino Primitivo, so the next stages are more traveled than the previous ones. We recommend that you make a brief stop at km 15 in Melide, which offers all the necessary services, where you can also (and should) try traditional pastries and gastronomy. In Arzúa you will be able to taste the delicious Arzúa-Ulloa Denomination of Origin cheese and stamp the credential in the Church of Santiago de Arzúa before heading to your accommodation to rest.

The end of our Camino de Santiago Clásico is near. After a well deserved and I hope a deep rest, we will have a good nutritious breakfast to be ready for what we have left. Today you will do 19 km.
From Arzúa to Santiago there is a distance of 40 km, so we do not recommend traveling them in one go, the most logical thing is that you divide this route in two, stopping at Santa Irene, Rúa or O Pedrouzo. This section has no difficulties. You can travel it in approximately 4 hours. In Santa Irene you have hostels, in Rúa you will find Bars, Pensions and Rural Houses where you can stay and in O Pedrouzo, all the services. The last 2 km from Rúa to O Pedrouzo are walked on the asphalt N-547, which breaks with the usual and comforting rural roads.

You did it! You reached the last day of this adventure. To finish as it deserves today you are awaited: 21 km. This section is completed in approximately 4 or 5 hours. Upon reaching Monte do Gozo at km 15, you will be able to see the towers of the Cathedral for the first time. After walking the last 4 km, and upon arrival in Santiago, you will only have to cross the Porta do Camino, cross the old town of Compostela and enter the Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela.
Once finished, go to the Pilgrim’s Office, located on Rúa das Carretas 33 to stamp the credential and obtain the Compostela, which is free and the optional Distance Certificate. And may we have an eternal memory of having completed this unforgettable adventure!

On the seventh day of our adventure on the Camino de Santiago, we will go to Finisterre, a magical place with great symbolism, because this is where the road ends for many pilgrims. It is the second most visited place in all of Galicia, after Santiago de Compostela. This place is one of the most important symbolic rewards that pilgrims carry, upon arrival you can see the immensity of the ocean, which for many mystics symbolizes the end of the world, or the beginning of the land of the dead.
We will visit the Ezaro waterfall, the only one in Europe that flows into the sea, it is really a spectacular landscape and if the weather accompanies us we will visit the beaches.

Good morning Pilgrim! You are officially one. We hope you had a good rest and enjoyed this incredible experience.
See you on the next adventure!
